Gabriel Aguilera is the senior policy advisor for the Western division of FERC’s Office of Energy Market Regulation.
Mr. Aguilera has spent the past 15 years at FERC, where he specializes in generator interconnection, electric transmission, and other issues related to open access transmission tariffs in the bilateral and organized wholesale electric markets in the Western United States.
He received two undergraduate degrees in business administration from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
