Shaun Foster has been with PGE for nearly 17 years, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Transmission Development. In this role, he is responsible for the on-time development of PGE’s portfolio of transmission projects. Mr. Foster leads PGE’s engagement with peer transmission providers, independent transmission companies (ITCs), elected officials, stakeholders, and other key parties to advance the development of crucial transmission projects.
Previously, Mr. Foster managed teams responsible for implementing PGE’s Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) services, including transmission and interconnection services. They also played a pivotal role in shaping PGE’s regional transmission planning policy initiatives. Notably, they led PGE’s involvement in the establishment of NorthernGrid, where they were elected as the first enrolled party co-chair of the Member Committee. Before the creation of NorthernGrid, Mr. Foster represented PGE on multiple committees within the Northern Tier Transmission Group. He has served as PGE’s representative to various committees within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) for several years.
