George Lynch is an attorney, and currently works at the Washington State University Energy Program, where he leads transmission policy for the Washington Commerce Department, Energy Office.
He was most recently a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy Grid Deployment Office, where he developed and led GDO’s wholesale electricity market program, and worked on transmission policy and nuclear issues.
Prior to joining DOE, Lynch was Legal Counsel of the Idaho Governor’s Office of Energy and Mineral Resources. Before moving to Idaho, George lived in Washington, DC and was Senior Legal Editor at Bloomberg.
He has a JD from American University, Washington College of Law and a LL.M. in international law from George Washington University Law School.
